The Civil Protection Act [Chapter 10:06] <\/b>of Zimbabwe establishes a framework for disaster management and response. It creates a civil protection organization responsible for preparing for, guarding against, and dealing with disasters such as natural calamities, major accidents, epidemics, or disruptions to essential services.
